A to Z Blogging Challenge: The "B" Edition

From my personal, handwritten journal...from my alone time with God:

In order to trust God, we must believe.

Purify your mind by studying the Word of God; that's where our armor is.  Life can get confusing, but the way to work through confusion is to hold fast to Jesus.  Simply believe, and hold on to those truths with all your heart, all your might, with your whole soul and being.  Hold on and know that the words He has spoken, even spoken to your own heart, are true and above reproach.  They cannot fail because He, the one true God, has spoken them.
Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.  Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.
Psalm 37:3-5

blun·der·buss
[bluhn-der-buhs]  noun

an insensitive, blundering person.

It's also a gun, but these days the "g" word has been added to that ever-growing list of politically incorrect things that we shouldn't like, use, or support, no matter what the constitution says!

A blunderbuss with a blunderbuss probably wouldn't be a good thing.   A blunderbuss with a blog...definitely not a good thing.

  3. I always loved the word "blunderbuss," probably because my mother used that word quite a bit. Visiting from A to Z.

  4. Lots of cool beaks and pretty bridges. Blunderbuss, which came first the name for the gun or the name for a loud person?
