Well. It's Monday. You know that weekends are hard for you--the good news is that it's not the weekend anymore!
Just keep at it, girlfirend, just keep at it.
Some days that's not an easy thing to hear, let alone do. But the fact is, if you don't quit, eventually you'll get where you want to go.
It just doesn't seem like it at moments like the one you had this morning.
That's the only advice I have--and I do realize that it's hackneyed. I also realize that I am so glad I didn't throw in the towel when I messed up, wandered off course, got discouraged...and just plain blew it. I definitely threw in some wash clothes--but not the towel. :)
get right back on plan and don't look back. take it for what it was when you spiralled but stop the spiralling now and move forward ahead, remembering the great progress you have done and how far you have come. you can do this!!!
You KNOW we have all messed up at some time, if we have been doing this for any length of time... so you'll be okay, even though it's hard right now. I know you know that... it's just frustrating, I'm sure! And we understand that part, too!
Yahoo your half way to your goal! Like you said before, this isn't a temporary goal, it's a living goal to live a long life for your family and those precious grandchildren! When I get off track, I have to honestly process what happened to make me go there so I can change my behavior. Easier said than done - yes, absolutely. When something happens in the future and you know it will, stop and think... How will I respond in a healthy way?
Ugh. I hate when that happens. :(

It is the contining to stay in the off-track mode, not the initial fall that is the problem.
ReplyDeleteIf you blew the weekend, let it go & start fresh right now. You are a long way along even if you are not at the half way mark.
Please don't attack yourself; you have been doing very well. ~Mary
You can't fail if you don't quit. So just take it a day at a time. I am on my fitness pal also, love that site.
