Update, that is.
I'm still alive!
This is a very quick note to just update those who miss me....
My beloved uncle, R.P. Smith, has gone on to be with his Lord and savior. He was one in a million, a true gentleman, and I loved him dearly. He will be missed. I do plan to write more about him later.
My car window got smashed out at work.
My four year old granddaughter, Samara, had a diving board accident and has had surgery to repair some damage. It was not pretty, but she will be fine, and I probably won't write any more about that. Just know that there is a God, and He is merciful.
One last update: I am no longer on a diet...but there's always tomorrow, if the Lord allows it. Though to be honest, I can't see me starting a diet tomorrow.
((((Meg))) I am so sorry about your uncle's passing; my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family as you grieve; I pray lots of people will love on you all in the days ahead. so thankful your grand-daughter is going to be okay. I'm sorry about the diet; I know you'll re-group eventually; be kind to yourself in the meantime. thanks for the update......

Thanks for the update. I have missed your writings.
ReplyDeleteSorry for all the trials and strife facing you lately. I pray things make a positive change for you.
We need to lose the word "diet" anyhow and just try to make more healthier choices whenever possible.
Praying for you.
I'm so sorry this is a tough time. {{{hugs}}}
ReplyDeleteI know it sounds trite, and like I am trivializing your struggle, but please know I am NOT, when I say I am not on a "diet" either. I agree with mslil on that... just take care of yourself, make healthier choices, and I pray God wraps you up in Peace and comfort.

I understand completely my friend, completely! See ya when you get back!
ReplyDeleteI guess that things are rough for a lot of people I know, but I'm sorry you had to be one of them. I know you read my catchup post, too, and I thank you for your comments. I am also "not" on a "diet"... those words tend to make me want to eat more. I will just have to try to live day to day right now, keeping my eyes on Jesus... just like you are, I know. HE is the author AND finisher of our faith!
